British convert to Islam vows to fight to the death on Syrian rebel front line

A British Muslim convert from east London is fighting on the front line of the battle for Aleppo after joining rebels in their struggle against Bashar al-Assad's regime.

The jihadist, who lived in Walthamstow, has joined an Islamist brigade as it fights for control of Syria's second city.

While he refused to give his real name, he agreed to speak to The Daily Telegraph in a field hospital behind the front line in the contested Aleppo suburb of Salaheddin. The Londoner, who called himself "Abu Yacoub" — father of Jacob — is the first proven case of a Briton being where the fighting is fiercest in Syria.

He was with an Iraqi friend, Hassan, who had received a minor bullet wound in the leg, and was taking him to the field hospital for treatment.

He disclosed that he had converted to Islam five years ago and had arrived in Syria earlier this year to join the revolutionary forces seeking to overthrow President Assad.

I wonder how and why the citizens of western countries are so apathetic when it comes to their governments inciting civil wars in ME countries.

This is exactly why the discriminatory NPT must be broken and every country in the world must work to obtain nuclear weapons and ICBM's so that these kind of imperialistic adventures will cease once and for all. The NPT is the tool by which western governments maintain their stranglehold on the rest of the world.

They have a monopoly on financial institutions like the WB and IMF, veto in the UNSC when it comes to geopolitical issues and NATO which they use when all other types of terrorism (financial and geopolitical) fail.

Seeing emerging powers working within the existing framework only solidifies their monopoly of power. What we need is a country (China?) that refuses to work within the existing structures and instead takes leadership to create parallel institutions and structures of global governance that will challenge these existing rich men's clubs. So the US and Europe refuse to make the leadership race for the WB and IMF democratic? Fine. Let the BRIC's form their own separate lending institution where only they have monopoly.

The best thing would be if the issues between China and India were resolved. A free trade bloc between China, India and Russia would have 40% of the world's population and a large quantity of its resources under one roof. A military alliance between the three would rival NATO.

Syria reportedly eliminated Bandar bin Sultan in retaliation for Damascus bombing

http://defenceforumindia.com/forum/west-asia-africa/20816-syrian-crisis-54.html#post545570

I can't understand how the World has been quiet on this one for so long,
Bandar Bush has never appeared in public since these reports come in . . .
and the KSA has neither denied nor confirmed these reports .

For the uninitiated, the conspicuous silence maintained by the Western Media and KSA should be indicative
of the importance of this man,

Bandar , The newly appointed Chief of Saudi intelligence and Secretary General of the National Security Council, KSA
was also their former Ambassador to the US considered by some to be the most competent Prince, in the regime

The slick Bandar is definitely the greatest Loss that KSA could have sustained and this should completely paralyze their operations in this war,

I find their Total silence over these reports both shocking and suspicious.

If hopefully the Reports are true then a big YEY !!!!

Syria reportedly eliminated Bandar bin Sultan in retaliation for Damascus bombing

Though not yet announced by the Saudi authorities, the death of Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been confirmed to Voltaire Network by unofficial souces.

Prince Bandar had just been appointed head of Saudi intelligence on July 24: a promotion which was interpreted as a reward for having organized the attack in Damascus on July 18. The Saudi services, with logistical support from the CIA, had managed to blow up the headquarters of the Syrian National Security during a Crisis Cell meeting: Generals Assef Chaoukat, Daoud Rajha and Hassan Tourkmani were killed instantly. Generals Amin Charabeh and Hicham Ikhtiar died soon after from their wounds. This operation, called "Damascus Volcano" was the signal for the attack on the capital by a swarm of mercenaries, mainly coming from Jordan.

Prince Bandar was himself the target of a bomb attack on July 26, and subsequently succumbed to his injuries.

Basically, it's about time India, Iran, and Russia, joined hands to arm and fund the Saudi Shia minorities on Eastern KSA, where, interestingly, most of their oil wells are located. That will not only rattle the 'rattle-snake,' i.e. the Wahhabi nutjobs, it will also put interruptions in the oil production, and therefore, their income.

This will force the US, which needs smooth flow of oil, to negotiate with the other Pole, and also drill some sense into these paid protesters the world over, including Kashmir, now that the flow of funds is not as stable.

I think this Battle is fought as much on the Social media networks as the on the Land ,
and its not that Hard to take on the US on former territory in this particular case.

and Every one of us can do our bit in this war between Humanity and Barbarism .
Put your Facebook and Twitter accounts to some good use for a change.

The US will eventually come to realise its folly and pull back if the world Opinion is Against them,
and i think this time they might have just over reached in their arrogance thinking they'll be able to
mould the world Opinion to suit their objectives once again.

IMHO India should and would refrain from coming out explicitly against the US / KSA / Syrian Rebels/Al Qaida .

I fully support a Shia uprising now.

But don't hope something different from that happened in Bahrain and Yemen, that is, repression and bloodshed.

It is just that KSA pays by what they did on Syria.

Shia militants should attack the Saudi oil facilities to go up oil' price and impair the Saudi capability to replace the Iranian oil in the West siege against Iran.

Foreign citizens in KSA also can to be included among the possible targets. Since USA, UK, France, etc., has took part on Syria conflict, all their citizens are in war too, and thus became targets. KSA has few own workforce and need foreigners to help the economy to works.

Let's go leave them without oil and workers. Palestinians workers in KSA can to be included on the uprising, not as targets, but as insurgents beside the Shias.
