It looks well within range.

Apparently not...

How do you know it a pilot ? he can be just a FSA guy acting ?

The pilot change his suit so quickly and no showcase of helmet or suit..

How can FSA miss there huge PR material of downed aircraft ? there are no wreckage of fighter ever shown by FSA ? though it should be noted there are hundreds of FSA guys with Cameras around..

This guy not even the pilot..

Very good observation Kunal.

I agree, this is a bit too much to believe.

You said FSA even claimed it was downed to technical fault. I clarify that is not what they said. I also clarify that a crappy camera phone that is close enough to get a close up of a fighter is close enough for a 14.7mm to hit it.

I am not going to stoop to arguing over their PR footage agenda of things they may or may not take footage of. They already showed it being shot down. crashing and it doesn't look like there would be much left anyway.

Sorry, but when India shot down the Atlantique, quite a bit was left, and was shown on TV.

I am still waiting for footage of the wreckage, especially since the Jihadis are well equipped with cameras and high-speed internet to upload their video on the day of action, which they apparently do.

Look at the crash footage... it looks like it would be vaporized on impact hitting that hard.

Metals don't vaporize, unless you get closer to the sun on inside the core of a nuclear reactor.

Magnalium and duralumin are common alloys for making aeroplanes. Aluminium is a major component of this alloy.

Boiling point of aluminium: 2,467° C

Poor guy was sacred, worst way of beheading..

Few days back saw the similar action of captured soldiers....

Similar way of killing of ISAF men in Astan..
I was influenced by the western propaganda of Russian Army killing "Innocent Chechens", and then one day I stumbled upon a video of some Chechen rebels cutting the throat of a Russian Soldier. The soldier was already injured, his hands were tied behind his back, then one guy put his left foot over his face and inserted an Army Knife right in his throat and cut it open by up-and-down out-ward motion, I could see the extreme pain in victim's eyes.

Just see the size of the knife which was used to cut the throat of the victim, inhuman bastards. No sympathy towards these animals.

You still don't believe the jet even crashed despite the Syrians stating it crashed due to "technical problems." :wat:
  • Do I believe the jet crashed? Yes.
  • Do I believe it was shot down by FSA? No.
  • Do I believe the jet crashed in rebel held territory? No.
  • Do I believe the alleged person in the video is the pilot? No.

Happy to be corrected from reliable sources, not Jihadi YouTube videos, please.

  • Do I believe the jet crashed? Yes. Syrian State media said so...
  • Do I believe it was shot down by FSA? Yes. The coincidence of it exploding in flames at the exact moment bullets are whizzing by is million to one that it decided to flame out at that exact moment.
  • Do I believe the jet crashed in rebel held territory? Yes. The town it was flying over was held by FSA, it didn't make it too far from that location.
  • Do I believe the alleged person in the video is the pilot? Maybe. I am curious why he doesn't have a flight suit.

Happy to be corrected from reliable sources, not Syrian State Media claims, please.

Azaz air strike in Syria leaves '30 dead'

Syrian warplanes have attacked the northern town of Azaz near Aleppo, killing 30 people and wounding many more, activists say.

Rescuers scoured the rubble in search of survivors and casualties were taken to a nearby field hospital as well as to the Turkish border for treatment.

There are growing fears that tensions from the Syrian conflict have begun to spill over into neighbouring Lebanon.

Saudi Arabia has urged its citizens to leave because of the risk of abduction.

A Shia Muslim clan said on Wednesday that it had kidnapped 20 Syrians in Lebanon in retaliation for the abduction of a Lebanese kidnapped by rebels in Damascus on Monday.
