Based on the ground reports and anger among the Afghans against Taliban, It is more likely Taliban who will face the brunt of Afghan society.

Any Nation or a group who runs their business by threats, killings and hate when their time comes will also die in the same way what they did to others.

In the past American leaders have launched attacks on foreign nations because they got caught getting b-jobs in office. Biden's approval rating is already crashing, the deep state has started making moves against him (like leaking the call with Ghani a few days before the fall of Kabul). Biden admin would be praying for everyone to start forgetting about Afganistan, news and images of an execution of Saheh could be the last straw to break the camels back.

Americans are forced to work with taliban. Taliban has 100s of americans as hostages in Afghanistan.

The false flag kabul attack was to make sure everyone of the foreigners leave.

Now many countries have their citizens trapped in Afghanistan and hence they are not able to take steps against taliban.

I suspect most of the "trapped" US citizens are Afghan origin, and almost all "white" Americans have been extracted.

Japan has one of the most powerful navies as well as airforce. In recent times the Japanese Navy is building up in a very fast pace. The Izumo class LHDs are basically mini aircraft carriers. Also, very soon Japan is going to have the 2nd largest F-35 fleet after USA!

Japan can actually hold its own against China. The constitution of Japan and the some half of the population having a contrary views are what holding Japan back from building up more.

But, I doubt Japan would ever take any keen interest in affairs as far flung and as troublesome areas as ME. It has more concern closer to home. Japan is the single most reviled nation in the corner of the earth it is in. Whatever we might think, the colonial Japan has left a sour note in the south east asian psyche and Japan's militaristic expansion would rise heckles in south east Asia, including its fellow ally South Korea.

lol... get over that good vs evil thing ... taliban is here to stay . all countries surrounding it have made peace with it . thats wht russia told india .. taliban is a reality and india shd accept it ... though panjshir resistance look romantic it wont have much impact or wont last long . remember there is support of fully professional Army i.e pakistan behind taliban ... its better for us to work with taliban and ensure afganistan land wont be used against india .
