See? I had said before that he is an ambitious guy, in the good way. I don't think he'll get much international support. He probably would have to carry out guerilla warfare. He might be willing to do that for years, but will his men be there for the long haul too? Doubtful, but we'll see.
Unfortunately he's probably virtually alone. If the Afghans wanted to fight, they wouldn't have dropped their weapons and joined the Talibs. Of course Biden destroying their trust in the US by pushing back the withdrawal date didn't help, but ultimately the narrative of "corrupt US puppets" (corroborated by their actual corruption) convinced the Afghan people that the Talibs were the good guys and the coalition government were the bad guys (even though they knew Talibs were Pak puppets).

As evil as it is, if we any any hope of Talibs joining a future war against Pak (with them retaking Pak Pashtun lands as the motiviation) we have to show them good will now. Which means we can't covertly support Saleh's forces or anything like that.

That fact that the entire country isn't outraged by this is basically proof that America is already done, it's only a matter of time. The saddest part, is that it wasn't the Soviets, or the Chinese, or the Nazis, or the North Koreans/Cubans/Iranians/Venezuelans who took them down. It was the cultural marxists and woke cultists within their own nation, along with low IQ American mainstream conservatives.

After abandoning Afghanistan, Biden urgently needs clarity on Taiwan

While the Afghanistan debacle was unfolding, the Biden administration was also grappling with the U.S. policy of “strategic ambiguity” on defending Taiwan. Despite Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s assurance that “America’s commitment to Taiwan will remain rock-solid,” the statements of other administration officials, rather than edging toward greater clarity, are in danger of veering into strategic incoherence.

After capturing Afghanistan, Taliban gives big statement on Kashmir

According to sources cited by Zee News, the Taliban has described the Kashmir issue as an internal issue between India and Pakistan. The insurgent group has said that Kashmir is not included in their agenda and it is an issue between the two countries.

If true, this confirms what we were speculating about yesterday, ISI doesn't have nearly as much control over the Talibs as they wished they did. This also shows that they are open to working with India against Pak at some time in the future. You can't blame them i guess, they care more about reuniting the Pashtuns than Kashmir.

Now coming back to what a certain ex general said. He said "Pakishitan has defeated two superpowers in a span of 40 years & checkmated India ...blah". The statement is certainly an appreciation, make no mistake about that. Forget the actuality, how can an Ex Indian general say this wrt. a state that uses terror as a state policy. A state that housed Laden, Hafiz etc. A state that carried out Mumbai along with n number of other assorted attacks. A state that embeds it's "professional soldiers" with terrorists as a single unit. At times i think it is because of blind anti Modi hate or to rile up "Bhakts" as though only Bhakts should get riled up with his insane statement. Any normal Indian would get riled up. Now i am thinking is it because of some "shared Punjabi biradari" (not generalizing). But then, this same person has made a vague reference to coup against Modi. So i am not surprised. But still, eyes & ears that have once guarded/privy to state secrets should maintain vigilance at all times, especially in this age of information warfare where perception, opinions form & wane.
