When Taiwan became the first Asian nation to legalise same sex unions some years back - much to chandrachooth's dismay beating him to the finishing line first ( it's a civil partnership IIRC) , it was by decree as in the SC of Taiwan passed an order to the effect & the political class fell in line after some initial extremely muted mumblings.

I suspect that's where Chandrachooth got his ideas from except he ran into headwinds pretty early on & the rest is history. The LGBTQ mafia here is hoping for something similar which is why every few years they'd keep moving the SC on this issue & then some more.

Just for confirmation, Sun Yat Sen - first President of China & founder of the Kuomintang, widely regarded by both the CCP & Kuomintang as the founding father of modern China along with his successor in the Kuomintang & co brother Chiang Kai Shek - generalissimo & dictator of RoC in mainland China & later of Taiwan were both Protestant Christians though Taiwan continues to be a majority Chinese folk religion & Buddhist dominated society.

IMHO No self respecting country should agree to this kind of shenanigans but this is modern india so any thing goes. It will give one more weapon to all those evangelicals group in proselytisation activities.

Nepalis already are going to Japan in good numbers, there were tweets by japs themselves calling out how many local store staffs are full of Nepali, Vietnamese, Thai and such people
Japanese, Chinese, Koreans or all these Asians themselves are racist in their own ways - they would rather want to bring people looking similar to them than other races

You forget a big problem with this approach. Most of the NE guys Japan & Taiwan recruits are hardcore Christian states & at least Japan is as xenophobic towards outsiders as they are towards Christians.

It may not be as pronounced as it used to be in the mediaeval era but our NE guys are a bit of bible thumpers . Can't rule out a classic clash of cultures as time goes by .

there are tonnes of japanese "christian" colleges there
almost half of their marriages are done according to christian traditions in churches
heck, christmas is a fashionable holiday and all there now; like valentine is;

they might not believe in Yeshu and Christian Abrahamic God like our baptized folks here but otherwise in all practical aspects they are christians

NE folks do not need to thump bible and all when Japs themselves are so pro-weimerican culture even if in name of 'fashion' and live practically like them

Yes, very likely, and one can't help but notice that political correctness hasn't really caught on in those countries, to anywhere near the extent it has in the west. Whether religion, race or ethnicity, they can say some pretty offensive stuff.

This is natural human behavior, who wants to go there to do coolie jobs....go as skilled. Unskilled labourers life is not good in any of these countries or middle east. Have you seen their conditions in those countries? No one gives a crap about them.....they are even more discriminated if any vs heartland Indians. Don't get on to woke and call rascism on everything....unless someone attacks you for what you are in any country, it is not rascism. Who they let in country and offer work and wants them to settle is not rascism. Would you do the same in your house? I think you are making broad conclusions, very little actually take it seriously beyond superficial acts. India on the other hand is more trashy accepting conversions and percapita more churches and masjids than their populations. I don't think your point has any validity....just because we wear pant and shirt does not make us western. If any its commendable that they are still so Japanese in traditions even at that development level vs Indians, with females and males taking up alcohol, not knowing hindu calendar, smoking and so on and all evils of west but not much positives taken up. Most inaccurate portrayal....same with Chinese outside China actually still follow their traditions, korans on the other hand did convert enmasse.....thai, vietnamese, lao people all follow their traditions. Hindus in Bali are even better than hindu's in India now a days.
