I for one think we should only give/sell indigenously developed and manufactured system.
Their is no use of importing such systems and then giving or selling to Taiwan.

We can give mighty Mig-21Bis to Taiwan asap.

We can give 2+4 Apaches each from IA and IAF respectively.

We can give 500 howitzers.

We can give Sig riffles with OFB manufactured ammunition.

We can deploy ever repairing INS Vikramaditya in south china sea.

moreover, we can try to give Light tanks, Drones, tanker refueller, moral support, kadi ninda, bhartna etc etc....

Apart from humanitarian aid & moral support, I don't think we can help much.
The only country that can help militarily is Great Satan & that too is questionable.

whatever will happen in Taiwan will be on the similar lines of murica's UKR current strategy, their support will come from japan and south korea.
the role GoI will play will be similar to the ukraine.
so basically nothing sensational.

We do have enough weapons on border.
Lets see if Agniveer program help relieve pressure on our defense budget but I suppose it will take atleast a decade to see some meaningful gains.
With growing of domestic MIC situation will improve overtime.

Yep but once PRC attacks ROC, shit hit the fan for ROC.

No point giving the hard earned work to firangi slave states. Let’s first focus on India

We can't always seat on the sidelines.

it depends on what factors one is considering to arrive at this conclusion. the way i am seeing it.

- taiwan is a frontline state both for u.s and china
- taiwan unofficially comes under the protection of U.S
- taiwan protection has bipartisan support in washington D.C
- taiwan will get anything they ask for from U.S MIC, except nuclear weapons
- taiwan second layer defence come from U.S troops already deployed in Japan and SK
- taiwan is the frontline from U.S perspective, tibet border comes in our domain.
- there are dedicated U.S think tanks which look into aspects of taiwan.

in essence india's involvement will be viewed as intrusion in murican backyard. murican MIC will not allow it.
and more over GoI does not need to spread our limited diplomatic resources thin.

most importantly, India does not have security treaties other than with bhutan, hence a regional player.

We will have to slingshot all the way around Australia, Papua New Guinea and travel across Philippines sea to reach port of Taitung or Hualien or Kaohsiung (if not destroyed).

We will need support of Quad navies to do so.

Its not easy to enforce blockade an enemy country. USN and to some extent USAF will prevent this from happening.
