By the time has passed since my last presence here, RuAF has received all the first LRIP 48 Su-35S for the fighter regiment at the Dzemgi AB (Komsomolsk-on-Amur).
The next contract has been signed for the next 64 aircrafts which will be delievered to the North Joint Command air bases and Southern military district Morozovsk AB.

Yes, K is from Russian "Коммерческий" (Сommercial or merchandisrable).
If there will be customized Chinese version it will be designated Su-35SKK (Серийный, Коммерческий, Китайский). In English: production, commercial Chinese.

Apparently 2 times better than Su-30MKI and 50% better than Su-30SM.
It has unique radar with outstanding range and wide set of work modes/algorythms, much better mission computers, new engines (8800/14500 kgs thrust each) with much better speed/altitude performance than generic Al-31F and even FM.
Su-35 has optimized aerodynamics, 10% lighter body with 6000hrs lifetime and additional 2 tons of fuel.
It is a paragon of Flankers fighter family.

Empty weight of SU-30 is 17,700kg opposed to 18,400kg of SU-35
Loaded weight of SU-30 is 24,900kg opposed to 25300kg of SU-35
