Lca mk1 is crap

Rafale even if deal struck cant enter before 2017

Pakfa or fgfa will enter in service on or after 2020

Too many mki already in the force

So looking above point its a valid question to why not buy su35 without tot .because lets face it in tot we only pay for knowing how to screw.means frankly that can be done by scrapping 1 or 2 planes and we can save billions.

The first four Su-35 fighters will be delivered to Russian air forces in a few days

The first multi-role Su-35 fighters will be delivered to Russian air forces by mid-February, Kommersant reports with reference close to the military-industrial sector.

«Su-35 fighter will be put into service by Russian air forces soon. All the necessary documents have already been elaborated», — the source noted. He explained that «Su-35 will be put into operation after delivery of the fighters to combat units of the air forces».

«Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Plant named after Y.A. Gagarin (subsidiary of United Aircraft Corporation) will deliver the first four fighters of the type to Russian air forces by mid-February», — the source said. «As for official introduction of Su-35, it will be finalized by the special governmental decree after completion of the jet's joint state testing», — the source added.

He reminded that "Su-35 fighters will be delivered to the air forces under a state contract for delivery of 48 aircraft of the type during the period until 2015 with a step-by-step increase of the pace of delivery». Speaking about the prospects for export of Su-35 the source said that "Rosoboronexport has not signed any contracts for delivery of Su-35 fighters yet, but negotiations with several potential customers are in progress».

@Austin, I've posted this info several times.
Russians have been doing sensors fusion long long before French and Americans.
Yes, Su-35 has rather more sophisticated and ergonomical sensors fusion than Rafale has.
Sensors fusion is not a miracle for now. It's just a must have thing for all.

I'll post the details later in this topic.
