Thanks for the infne more question; what about the ergonomics of Vz58?As it is extremely compact and light weight ,did this affected its controllability during burst firing?

This was the pic of Ofb assault rifle i was telling about.The AK shown in the pic is of defexpo04,is having a romanian type furniture plus as you look clearly the gun doesn't have a rectangular magazine catch which is found in your given pic.These two pics were the basee for ma doubts.

As i said, you cannot make difference between both unless you hold and look for there markings, Also mine one had the OFB marking so does the gas regulator..

OFB is making lot of different AK since then, They also had one in green fiber so does black and Orange as Insas also wooden..

Got the point man.Was just posting the the old pic to show how much it changed.Just two little doubts. 1:-Which is better a 90 degree or 45 degree gas block? 2:-Which type of the older buttstocks controls the recoil in a better manner?The east German side folder or Russian underfolder or the insas type folder? Btw if you got a pic of good pic of old Slr 1C pls post it.

In performance both are same, But one can install a gas regulator in 90 degree gas block as option..

For me both are more or less same, there design is obsolete..
