Brief Answer
Army commanders can now buy whatever they want under the OCPP rule. OCPP or Other Capital Procurement Procedure gives power to do things like refit, upgrade and modification up to 100 crore and without the whole red-tapped procedure of paperworks. So these small companies either give kickbacks or use influence to get their products selected under OCPP. On one hand the commander gets either kickbacks from that firm or he quotes an inflated price and on the other the firm gets to sell their products at a comically high price...both enjoy the deal

last time i commented that these roadside gunsmiths there, they can make various kinds of AKs but not ARs owning to increased complexities in manufacturing; and well i've been proven incorrect after some search BUT still picture isn't as rosy as they claim it to be..because those relatively bigger guns manufacturers like Daudsons and so are importing turkish parts-kit of AR made there, reassembling it here and putting their names; rest those who make their ARs there are milling its receiver and components from readymade billets from turkey etc and making those guns that way; i still am not hopeful of them having actual metallurgical prowess of forging their own raw billets and barrels and so in those mid level gunsmithing companies.

But anyway, coming back here, this is nothing but another one of those assembled AR from random whatever parts they could get, just notice yourself

> most intriguing of all...bolt carrier here has no gas key rather a big blunt front for probably short stroke gas piston system; and even internal gas piston section on it has no gas rings on it to be able to effectively use as DI rifle; it's most likely some aftermarket short storke kit installed on standard CAR15 or M4 style AR mixed up parts build

and if you see it at end of video, after firing three rounds it just jams up; so i'm not that much worked up over this kind of things being made here either. let them try.
