Just to point out, the basij were originally crazy suicide mine clearers (literally clearing mines by exploding them with their bodies, to allow rest of the troops to march over them. Same old "paradise hoors" idea). Nowadays the ones roaming around on bikes are those used to terrorise people trying to oppose the state.

So 1) Not the best at military tactics
and 2) More of a street gang than a frontline unit.

Since basjijs were kids and kids love toys, thus toy companies in Iran were ordered to make millions of golden plastic keys, these toys were given to young basijis generally 12 or 11 at night and a cute personal copy of quran, they were told that these keys are keys to bahist Or jannat.
They were not enticed by hooris, they were told they will meet mahdi imam, imam hussian, imam Ali and Muhammad soon by their unit imam . Before being sent with a stick to clear anti personal mine, mostly none returned.
Iranians never used this hoor trope, kids were just too young and innocent to understand about hooris . This tactic saved iranian government from using this embarrassing hoori trope. Also many educated basijis, well most were anyway they also fought for eternal iran.
No hoors were used to entice children, for their love was pure for their nation

Bikes will never be used on a battlefeild. They have good utility as personnel carriers for remote areas with poor access, but else it is suicidal to ride into battle on a bike.

Bikes are very unsafe as is, under duress we will loose as many to accidents as to enemy fire.

Doesn't look like it has pic rails on the upper receiver. That buttstock is likely Fab kit.

This gentleman with a keen eye for Thicc butt has already pointed out; that's a FAB Defence stock, so just wanna add another point.

When AK-203 is finally issued then it'll be issued to a whole company not just one soldier will carry AK-203 and other will have a good ol side-folder.

Thanks for the clarification guys on a first look by seeing the side folder i thought it was Ak203 then I noticed the absence of top rails and oic was not of great quality thats why asked.Anyway thanks again

Asking coz when i was reading through the various insta gun pages they were mocking Arsenal for branding SLR series as an Ak100x copy whereas they are just Akms in black furniture and not true 100x series clones citing the specs are different

Lol...from AK-47 to the most recent AK-12 all are the same internally. Except for calibre differences and addition of a rate reducer in some models it's all same.

AKM has grooves in piston for better seal, removed in AK-103 for ease of manufacture.
AKM and AK-103 have different size of bolt stem
different muzzle break

few other minor changes, AK-103 is basically an attempt to standardise the production line of all members of AK family.

AK-100 SERIES INCLUDING AK-103 = JUST AK-74M MADE IN 7.62x39mm, 5.56x45mm etc CALIBRES IN DIFFERENT BARREL LENGTH CONFIGURATIONS

now refer to differences between AKM and AK-74M and it'll make sense

AK vs AK74M pattern bolts are easy to differentiate, here not exactly AKM vs AK74M but kopies of both being shown

as for bolt carrier, thing with flat pistons without any gas ring cuts, that was done for simplifying manufacturing process (for cost-cutting purposes?); same idea was also implemented in Saiga series civilian kalashnikov rifles, here a Saiga's bolt carrier

now, it seems some of these AK-74Ms have their gas pistons affixed with bolt carrier by a cross-pin rivet like thing at joint, drilled through their piston grooves for screwing it inside front stem of bolt carrier,
while others just have it like above-gas piston just screws in the bolt carrier etc;
this seems like another kind of cost-cutting thing;

and of course, muzzle devices

as for those instaidiots dissing Arsenal JSCo for "reeee imitating aey key wan zero three by calling their MILLED RECEIVER AEY KEY AEMs as SLR 10x 10y";
why you even taking those morons seriously, like Arsenal JSCo. of Bulgaria have mostly manufactured their AKs based on Type-3 only except a bunch of AK74s from 80s; they are following same methodologies as what O G Russian Izhmash now Kalashnikov Concern is following that to simplify and unify manufacturing process; so what if it's Milled Receiver AK-they all work basically same
