Bullpups aren’t allowed, those are purchased without RFI with emergency powers usually, X-95 is a beast. I hope SiG-MCX gets selected but it is 100 grams overweight.

i would trust these weapons over those plastic toys anytime. all i need is a thermal sight equipped to the helmet near my eye and i'm good.
imagine repairing those " Tacticool" looking weapons.

Ya it’s rate of fire is great for hostage rescue scenario, even we use Sterling carbines, lol.

Galil ACE can definitely come around 1000 a buck which is same as what we are paying for AK 103/203 .

In short we can get a better one at same price so why not ?

And outcome of battle depends on lot of things... and small improvements makes a case for themselves eventually.

And it's not abt doing the job but doing it better than before. So if it's better ergo , handling in auto , accuracy etc whatever we can get we should.

Who said we were to get it at 1000 usd or even less? Cost of the things wont go down beyond a limit.

SFF too uses Grease guns.. Saw few of them with SFF in recent pics. But if it was such a good gun better than the successor ones, why would US forces would be using MP-5s and Mp-9s? It was good by 1940s standards but for 21st century. Duh.. There were many better SMGs back then too like the french, russian ones
