I don't think Armasen has the Infrastructure to make their plate carriers on a very large scale. He will have to either partner up with a large scale manufacterer like SMPP or find funds to build his own infra. Cuz he will not be recognised for any large scale orders, I believe he operates out of a single workshop in Delhi.

Wrong is that they are made in India and MoD Babooz don’t get enough kickbacks to procure them, and we end up buying foreign made ones.

Even that isn't that functional and modular, SMPP is a good armour plate manufacturer, but I believe they're just using a generic carrier, probably from DRDO.

Standardisation is a big problem very big problem. I personally feel Tritium reticle red dots with integrated lasers should be made standard as an average US Infantry man gets ACOG and a AN/PEQ-15 as a standard kit, we don’t even get foregrips. So a standard tritium red dot sight with integrated lasers is something that should be made standard.

First we orderd 150k mku helmets and it seems they were ordered for replacing 1970s helmet it seems then they release another RFI for 100k helmets that protect from 7.62 and it seems to be replacing Patka.for BPJ too we have another RFI for 50k vests.after ordering 16k negev we have another competition for 40k LMG.we issued rfi for 94k carbines when the requirement is more than 300k.cluster fuck indeed

Which helmet can realistically stop 7.62 rounds? Barring Patka and the MKU/SMPP patka appliqué jugaads which still don’t protect all parts of the head?

I think it makes sense to babbus in MOD because the real plan was to buy only 72k sigs and rest from OFB but now they have given repeat order for sigs and killed OFB 7.62x51.buyed some negevs and rfi for 40k also will be mostly won by negev.I think its MOD plan of side lining OFB guns

If we end up making the Sig 716i our standard rifle, I believe SIG SAUER can provide a good discount for their LPVOs(Tango6t) and their fixed power sights(Tango 4 or 5), for our front line infantry and sf.
For the rest holos or red dot sights are sufficient if they really need it and iron sights are always there.
