Whoever acts in haste, will do miscalculations and suffer.

Russia invaded Ukraine - OK, but entered the warzone from too many sides, result, got slaughtered near Kiev. Donbass, the whole thing was well planned, and not so hasty - even after a year, Russia is still there, fighting, but still there.

Zelenskiy, foolhardy rushed into a counter-offensive without any complete preparations and with no air support. Got butchered. Now says, there was no counter-offensive to begin with.

In the same manner, Putin must not rush to control Prigozin. Let him play his cards. They are in Russia, not Ukraine. Without popular support, and obviously without essentials like food, water and ammunitions, their seige will last a few weeks. Putin should not act in haste and lose any loyalists or lose loyal base.
