Which is excellent news for us if it comes to pass. I have been saying this from day1 - the BEST case scenario for the global south, is for this conflict to get deadlocked, with slight russian advantage- for years on end.
Ie, exactly as it is today, but fast forwarded to 2030.
Maybe in the ensuing 7 years, Russian slight advantage translates into taking over all the 4 claimed oblasts & kharkov.
Why ?
Because this is a WW1 moment for us. Why did Euro savage domination of the world end ? Because of WW1. They lost so much able bodies & material in that war, that they couldn't hold on to their colonies and soon thereafter, their control weakened, grinding their expansionism to a halt, spurring rebellion & independence movements in their colonies and WW2 kicked over the crumbling empires.

So if this conflict deadlocks, the collective west is gonna spend waaaaaaaaaaay too much material, moolah & manpower to keep this going ( as they have given themselves no exit ramps and now must fight till the bitter end), while Asia, BRICS & the global south gets a lot more latitude to de-dollarise, gain financial & economic momentum.

Ergo, for us, the best outcome is, as spelled out above.

Correct. ISW is a good source for the other side. It's a think tank based in Washington and they have some of the most accurate reports I've seen so far. The comparative to them is Rybar. Haven't really found any other good ones - most of them just publish useless bullshit and the usual propaganda
