Rather crude attepmt, a single tank with two angled steel plates welded on front will clear a route in one pass with no difficulty.... Just plain stupid. Three tanks roll down the street and this street will be clear.

Time would habve been better spent piling up random pieces of tangled up rods etc from scrapyard, those tend to mess up the tracks if they bite on. Digging ditches on the road, 6-10 feet wide will stop a tank from crossing till it is bridged, and then only in single file. They had so many people and explosives around, could have done easily.

Not that easy, they are geometrically shaped to make it difficult to remove that easily especially under attack.

Caltrops are super old way of stopping tanks, nowadays they use solid concrete ones weighing a ton, which cant be moved easily.

These can be easily moved aside by an attchment like the one shown below, welded on in 15 mins to a tank.

Just like trains have that attachment in front for small debris.

New gears :hehe: :cruisin2:

The Ukrainians "Here's the 2 dozen BMDs, BMPs, T-80 tanks, 30 MANPADs, and 20 resupply trucks full of ammo, rockets, missiles etc we captured and the 5 aircraft we shot down today.."

The Russians "Here's a couple of empty tubes and what we found in the back of a mostly empty van.."

They are arranged in a particular layout for that exact reason....it will create forces that will be channelled into the ground. They are not the end of all but could be enough to use anti tank missiles or grenades.
