The fact is India didn't have the infrastructure in place to defend the Kashmiri Pandits against the 10s of 1000s of international jihadis that Pakis effectively pushed into Kashmir.
The jihadis gave 48 hours for all the Pandits to leave the valley or get massacred!

It's pathetic that Indian established couldn't foresee that it would happen - given what Pakis did in Punjab, the 3 invasions of Kashmir & the fact that it was well known that Pakis had 100s of 1000s of jihadis under control!!

True. Why we couldn't see the writing on the wall is what puzzles me.
Even if I take myself as an example, I do not have a solid body to fall back to in case I am offended. I cannot galvanize a group to defend me as effectively as either Muslims, or Christians or heck even Communists would.
My analysis is that I don't have a leader, or, I don't have the balls to be a leader myself. This needs to be corrected. Anyway this is going off topic. I can pick it up on some other thread.
