Looking at this from a purely doctrinal perspective.
Coldstart doctrine was supposed to enable the thrust of our corps within 2 days to provide us an element of surprise. Its been more than 2 days now.
So either coldstart is not happening (which means all the bluster about NASR was in vain), or our reading of coldstart has been faulty.
IMO, IA could have started operations within 48 hours if they wanted, but looks like they are taking their time. This is surely not a case of not being prepared. From Doval's talk when he was not NSA he clearly mentioned what his intentions were. So, all possible options would have been studied and game planned.

Waiting to see what they are going to do.
The time for effective airborne strikes on terror infrastructure in PoK has almost run out, IMHO. 48 hours is an acceptable time frame for moving out of camps.
I think IA is thinking on some larger moves this time, and maybe they want to be well prepared for a counter punch, well before we punch Pakistan. I don't think Doval wants to squander this opportunity away by acting hastily.

no, ayatollah was a big supporter of kashmiri cause. they are just pissed because Pakistan attacked them.
They were attacked earlier too and Iran stopped with just warning. While our planning surely should depend on our strengths alone, we should make use of any opportunity to multiply the impact. I don't believe it exists yet, but may be there is an opportunity to create one.

Two front war anyone?
Is it even possible to coordinate with Iran?
We can co-ordinate with Iran without collaborating. Divide areas of responsibilities and future spoils of war and operate within that. Pakistan army's doctrine in the event of an Indian invasion is to rush back into Afghanistan, which they've cultivated for strategic depth. India doesn't have logistics lines in Afghanistan to sustain our army there. Iran has direct land access to Afghanistan. If they move into Afghanistan to preempt Pakistan's recession into Afghanistan and deny strategic depth to Pakistani army, India can finish the job inside Pakistan.

Neither Iran nor India will want to be caught in a situation where both armies are congregated inside Pakistan while their army tactfully recedes into Afghanistan and nukes both of us inside Pakistan. The primary means to prevent Pakistan from pulling out the nukes is to make it known to them that they are trapped within Pakistan. Due to direct connectivity with the mainland, we have secure supply lines within India for the refueling and resupply of our columns in Sindh, under the full cover of AD. Similarly Iran has that edge inside Afghanistan and Baluchistan.

Just a passing thought : Israel tries to opportunistically burn Iran's fingers in every battlefront the latter is involved in and Israel also benefits from selling weapons to India. Per realpolitik, Israel's interests lie in the survival of Pakistan for causing attrition to Iran and for benefiting from weapon sales to India. No matter what Israel's twitter statements say, India must deliver a stern message to them no to meddle on this front to impede Iran when they move into Afghanistan. They will not stop the war, but they will try to prolong it in the hope that Iran loses a lot of blood and gets tied down here, to release pressure on Israel in the middle east, and hope that India would place an order for weapons on Israeli Flipkart as our ammo depletes. Israeli fanboi Swamy keep's expressing frustration whenever India doesn't go all out in the support of Israel. Swamy has his own agenda, the nation has its own interests. The Palestine card is a pressure tactic this is why we never surrendered all our bargaining chips in the name of friendship, be it UPA or NDA. People from the birthplace of Chanakya must not fall for the Baniya-giri of the Jew. No one is a permanent friend in international relations.

Mard e momin captured by Indian army during 1965 war. Sitting and smirking shamelessly.

Fast forward a few decades and these are the pot bellied, worthless medals flaunting Gernails of Terrorist army of Pakistan who infest the abomination that is GHQ Rawalpindi and make terrorism plans.

There should be a time machine to go back and wipe these vermins once and for all.

We should fund Freedom Fighters of Pakistan and Organise help to them from all three directions of India, Iran and Afghanistan.

We should impose punitive custom duties on Chinese imports because China is a major lever against Pakistan.
We can easily impose duties on low tech non essential Chinese import. This duties are not only essential to send a message to China but also essential to save our economy from heavy Chinese dumping.

Any overt war will unite the Muslim world against India and given opportunity to Pakistan to revive its Geo political position and economy.

There was a period during UPA when everyday their was a bombing in Pakistan. Kahan gaye vo din?

Problem is Jumlabazi, Present Govt seemed to have reduced support to freedom fighters in Pakistan while only encouraging crackdown within India.

Let's see Aaghe kya hota hai.

We left the task unfinished in 65, 71, 99, for lack of firepower. We were a poor socialist nation back then, with minimal resources and no international clout. Let's finish the job this time. India cannot become a 10T $ economy under the shadow of Pakistan's nuclear blackmail. Better to remove this tumor right now and step into a high growth path with one less thing to worry about.

Sushma Swaraj met with Iran's Deputy Foreign minister in Tehran.
Iran's foreign minister is currently in Munich, which means that this was not a previously scheduled visit (Sushma Swaraj wouldn't have a scheduled visit to Tehran if her counterpart was outside of Iran).
So, it appears like India is trying to coordinate with Iran for some kind of (offensive) act.

Getting Pakis in a vice grip from both sides will definitely make them cry....
