How much does it cost on an average to employ such PMC's ??

How feasible it is if Government decides to employ PMC's in POK to counter Pakis active support to Kashmir insurgency?

PMCs are nothing but glorified mercenary...the classic..classic.

mercenary
/ˈməːsɪn(ə)ri/
Learn to pronounce
adjective
adjective: mercenary

primarily concerned with making money at the expense of ethics.
"she's nothing but a mercenary little gold-digger"
h
Similar:
money-oriented

noun
noun: mercenary; plural noun: mercenaries

a professional soldier hired to serve in a foreign army.

Its not feasible as the mercenearies have a method and behavior to keep their "job" intact..that means the war never gets over.

I read somwhere, that IA employed British mercenaries as pilots to provide recon and support the ground troops in operations against LTTE, in Sri Lanka.
Any good knowledge on this piece of history?

PMCs are by nature, mere infantry. Deploying them in PoK is useless because they'll get killed faster than any hope of GDP growth in Pakistan.
They're good for advising armies who don't know how to even hold a weapon, rear security and COIN ops.

They're more police, less military.

Sorry to revive this old discussion but PMCs are needed badly in India. We have created the supply of resource through Agniveer but have not created the demand. Demand should cause creation of supply but then our IAS idiots think in reverse.

AUSTRALIAUnity Resources Group
FRANCEGEOS
GERMANYAsgaard Group
Gibraltar (UK)STTEP (uses ex-South African special forces mercs)
PERUDefion Internacional
POLANDEuropean Security Academy
RUSSIAWagner, E.N.O.T. Corp, Patriot, Redut & Slavonic Group,
TURKEYSADAT International Defense
UKAegis Defense Services, Erinys International, G4S, Rubicon, International Intelligence & Sandline International.
USAAirScan, Academi, Custer Battles, Jorge Scientific Corporation, KBR, MAG Aerospace, MPRI, MVM, Northbridge, Titan, Triple Canopy & Vinnell

These are just some of the known companies that operate in the world of PMCs. They have to artificially create instability to fund chaos. On the other hand, we are LITERALLY surrounded by chaos and are the perfect field to start operating such a mechanism.

I mean even Turkey and Peru have PMCs - these are small countries with limited military resources and are still able to create a PMC ecosystem. Are you telling that we would not be able to quickly train already trained soldiers in COIN, perimeter security, VIP level security, etc?

Imagine how many professionals would be freed from providing security cover for MPs and MLAs?

As PMCs, these soldiers would be exempt from useless things like Geneva Convention and other shit.

Q1: Do they have ROEs? Yes.
Q2 Can they be investigated? Yes.
Q3: Can they have plausible deniability in an unstable environment? Very much.
Q4: Does it help us? A lot.
Q5: Does their presence a) reduce Army's workload on menial stuff like counter-terrorism to focus on countering China, Pakistan and the US (possibly in the future)?
Q6: Does it create employment not just for Agniveers, but also for the emerging firearms industry in India?
You bet!

There can always be new rules incorporated to provide Agniveers experience in COIN operations by training with CoBRA of CRPF, the NSG and even Paratroopers. These youth will then be free to join PMCs and use their skills.
