Old picture of Operation Zarb e Azb

A common tactic used in the operation and was crucial in destroying the Talis in the area. Soldiers would be deployed behind enemy lines in multiple areas and passes with the intent of surrounding enemy forces, cutting off their escape routes and then destroying the enemy.

Why are we seeing Chinese airshow in a thread pertaining to Pakistan armed forces pictures & videos ?
While Pakistani "Fauj" is too busy selling cornflakes , has Pakistan outsourced its security to Chinese ?
It seemed to me that this was the best thread to put it in, as this was probably the most relatable thread and the airshow also had PAF jets later on.

Type 56 Chinese made is basically with the SSG units I guess ?
None of those soldiers in the video was of the SSG. Modified Type 56 were used as a temporary and cost-efficient replacement for the G3 as it was better fitted to perform in urban and unconventional warfare. Almost all Pakistani soldiers are equipped with the Type-56, SSG mainly uses the M4A1.

SSG

The performance of the Type-56 was greatly praised by Pakistani soldiers and officers in WoT operations such as Zarb e Azb.

Most Type-56 was 'pimped out' by POF or personally accordingly to each unit or how a soldier sees fit.

Regular Soldiers with Type-56

Pakistan is currently in talks with various countries and companies such as FN and Beretta to induct a standard rifle through ToT that would be produced in POF factories.

That depends which battalion it is and nature of OP
For example Powindas are using M41A Where as Zarrar uses AK47 , Steyr AUG , Type 56
And for SSGN they use M41A and FN2000 depending on op.

Ya basically like our NSG but lesser numbers and no education and specialised training is given to them regarding the psychological and technical side of training.

In NSG and PARA its a must to clear psychometric test before you are inducted.

Yep you're right, but what I meant to say is that the most used is the M4 rifle.
