May be like this. Many are saying this might posses some kind of BMD. And with 120 VLS. Missiles like Bharmos NG, Bharmos 2, LRSAM ER, LRCM, SMART? may be and BMD. That's a whole lot of missile.

This madlad is to be nearly twice the size of Kolkata/Visakhapatnam class... Basically 6 cruisers.

They'll look nothing similar (at best you can compare Nilgiri with Kolkata & extrapolate).

Ya'll Nibbiars this ship would be almost three times the size of the class it's going to replace the Rajput class. When Rajput was commissioned its was the monster of the Asia. Now this ship would be monster of Asia.

Ya'll Nibbiars also Intergated Electric propulsion. This is a true Super Destroyers.

Ya'll Nibbiars interesting fact is that it will be larger than even the Atago Class destroyer, Sejong the Great class Destroyers and even the Type 55 class Destroyers. So a true Monster of Asia.

Ya'll Nibba Cant say but if everything goes as plan take the P 17A for example its take normally some time for the first ship of the class to induct in service so say five years.

Type 55 destroyer weighs about 13000 tons.. So Project 18 destroyer would be similar in size..

The Type 55 Displacement is actually 12,800 tonnes. With 112 VLS. This Monster will have 13,000 tonnes displacement and 120 VLS with BMD capabilities.
