Lt Gen Bipin Rawat of Eastern Command will be India's next Chief of Army Staff; and Air Marshal BS Dhanoa will be India's next Chief of Air Staff.

Lt Gen Rawat's choice as the next CoAS is interesting as he pole-vaulted two seniors (highly unusual).
