That’s why they made Saras MK2 a pusher configuration aircraft instead of puller configuration Saras MK1.
Too much risk , let them do this one , if turbofan rta 90 is reality , it's half done gameI seriously consider this program a waste of time, they should drop it and instead redirect project personnel, facility and resources towards an Indigenous Transport aircraft program that will replace the ageing Il-76's.

Fund for this project was asked years before but our politicians who give big packages to minorities and farmers couldn't allocate fee hundred crores for the plane. This decision making has kept us third world country for years inspite of huge potential. Any good project manager can bring them very quickly.

Saras is in making for more than two decades. It is always 4 to 5 years away. It was five years away in 2010 and it is 5 years away in 2020. This lethargy costs country very dear. Had we had Numbers of Tejas Mk1 in hand and Mk2 ptoduction in line, we were not searching for 114 costly MMRCA today. These are the cost imposed on us dur to lethargy. Same is the case with With Saras and LTA. When we will have pick demand, we will be purchading from abroad. It will come when our pick demanda are met.That too when we have ecosystem.
