Another NOTAM in Bay of Bengal.

Looks like user trials of in service and newly acquired missiles by Indian Navy and Airforce respectively.

Maybe another user trial of air launched Brahmos. This time with some new enhancements like improved range.

Brahmos MD Dr Sudhir Kumar Mishra had made it clear that they just need a single test to validate the performance of their missile system. He had also mentioned that the present air launched Brahmos has a 300 km range. If and when the IAF asks for enhanced range,they will work on it.

After DRDO, Indian Navy is now on a missile test firing spree.

INS Kora today hit a decommissioned Pondicherry class minesweeper with a Kh-35 Uran at max range in the Bay of Bengal .

And this is the target ship.

Yes AFAIK.

Indian airforce is testing out the recently acquired aam stocks from Russia.

A wvraam which I am certain is R-74M2 was test fired today from a Su-30MKI. The test was successful. So, we can be certain that IAF has integrated the newer versions of the in service missiles and operationalised them across the Su-30MKI fleet.

R-37M and K-77M had also been procured .
