Don`t miss out 40mm & 37mm auto-cannons ..

================

Infantry is meant to be mobile and fast, Getting it heavy will make it cumbersome to move around which means less reaction time in case of war ..

During Kargil units deployed 400kms away from LOC were ordered to relocate and report in within 24-18hrs, A single unit may consists of 250 trucks ..
Where are all these ammunition generally made?
Last time during Kargil war we ran out of ammunition for artillery and had to beg African nations for some.

how many of you think china will go for war and afford to loss 70b$ of annual export inwhich they enjoy 50b$ trade deficit with india....
interesting point, but I think you are worrying too much.

the trade won't be disrupted unless it's a full scale war. and the trade will resume soon after the war whoever wins the war.

we also captured these during 1971 war when East Pakistani Air bases were captured along with their Air craft and these Air defense guns.

Amazingly these Guns are around and active service for almost 50 years now.

well said ..When it come to even skirmishes between two giants its going to equal to a war a small country may fight ..We are talking about worlds 2nd largest standing army vs 4th largest ...

This will be classic case of who is going to give the knock out punch when both know that s not going to end the fight as the opponent will still hit back ..

Lets wait and see ..Its our soldiers who will be fighting it hard... lets pray that god gives them strength and safety and also govt gives them weapons to fight ...

Brother even that skirmish will be the mother of all skirmishes.

Besides the scale of wars or Battles have different meaning of each nations for big nations like India, Pakistan or China it means mobilization of thousands of troops from each side along with support element and Hundreds of Tanks and artillery guns that nobody cares how many destroyed or capture in Battle.

And for some Nations their famous battle involve few 100 troops and only 1 Tank which becomes a matter of National prestige and monument for future generations.

They are working according to a plan. This intrusion was timed perfectly to coincide with NK ICBM launch and Modi's visit to US. Now emperor Xi went to Russia and everything is quiet on Sino Indian border. I have no doubt he discussed future spare part supply from Russia to India in case of war. Moreover emperor Jin's statement calling for peaceful resolution of regional disputes is very cleverly timed. He wants to show that it is India which is belligerent on both Sino Indian and Indo Pak borders. Now suddenly NK has become quiet and Trump is praising China, no doubt Chinese are trying to sweettalk them into not helping India for deal on North Korea and gullible Americans will fall for it.He is now covering his basis. His next step will be to sign a Bhutan like security pact with pakistan which he will claim is no different from India's security pact with Bhutan. Then they will rachet up diplomatic pressure through US and Russia and final step will be multiple intrusions by Pak -China combined along following fronts:
1) AP Tawang Axis
2) Bhutan India axis
3) Ladakh Axis
4) Kargil Axis
5) Kupwara Axis
6) Akhnoor Axis.
It will be bloody fight but it will end in stalemate except Xi would have made a point to Nepal, Bhutan , Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc that they are small ants and elephant cannot defend them so join the OBOR and he would have brought down the Indian economy in a crash. This is going to be a bloody game exactly as I had predicted.

This is some scary shit.
I am not to sure how long can India withstand an offence from both Pak and China.

India has exposed itself to Beijing’s interference in J-K by sending troops to Donglang: Chinese state media
If the Pakistani government requests, a third country's army can enter the area disputed by India and Pakistan, including India-controlled Kashmir, says an article in Global Times.

India has exposed itself to China’s interference in Jammu & Kashmir by sending Indian troops to disrupt Chinese soldiers from building a road in the Donglang region, the state media said on Sunday.

If Pakistan requests, “a third country” can dispatch soldiers to the Valley, said an article in the nationalist tabloid Global Times, adding that Indian soldiers “invaded” China’s Donglang (or Doklam) to serve India’s interests, not Bhutan’s.

“Even if India were requested to defend Bhutan's territory, this could only be limited to its established territory, not the disputed area. Otherwise, under India's logic, if the Pakistani government requests, a third country's army can enter the area disputed by India and Pakistan, including India-controlled Kashmir,” said the article written by Long Xingchun, director of the Centre for Indian Studies at China West Normal University.

Indian and Chinese border troops are locked in a standoff in the Donglang region, near the Sikkim border, which is controlled by China but is also claimed by Bhutan.

Interestingly, China has repeatedly said that Donglang is part of its territory since “ancient times”; it’s for the first time that a Chinese academic said it is actually “disputed”.

“Indian troops invaded China's Doklam area in the name of helping Bhutan, but in fact the invasion was intended to help India by making use of Bhutan,” Long wrote. “India controls Bhutan's defence and diplomacy, seriously violating Bhutan's sovereignty and national interests. Indians have migrated in large numbers to Nepal and Bhutan, interfering with Nepal's internal affairs. The first challenge for Nepal and Bhutan is to avoid becoming a state of India, like Sikkim,” the article added.

Long wrote about India’s “hegemonic diplomacy” in south Asia and claimed New Delhi’s policies have violated international laws and norms.

“For a long time, India has been talking about international equality and non-interference in the internal affairs of others, but it has pursued hegemonic diplomacy in South Asia, seriously violating the UN Charter and undermining the basic norms of international relations,” he wrote.

“Through mass immigration to Sikkim, ultimately leading to control of the Sikkim parliament, India annexed Sikkim as one of its states,” the article said.

Referring to the Siliguri Corridor that connects mainland India to the states in the northeast, the article said it was New Delhi’s concerns about the geographical connection that triggered the standoff.

“This incursion reflects that India fears China can quickly separate mainland India from northeast India through military means, dividing India into two pieces. In this case, northeast India might take the opportunity to become independent,” the article said.

It added: “India has interpreted China's infrastructure construction in Tibet as having a geopolitical intention against India. India itself is unable to do the same for its northeastern part, so it is trying to stop China's road construction.”

See I told u this is where it is going in my previous posts but people called me a closet Paki, Zaid Hamid supporter and what not. I have total faith in prophetic Hindu literature and moreover end of kaliyuga which heralds a brutal fight of kalki , the leader of Hindus and Jins (Chinese) and malecchas (muslims) is now not some 432000 years from now because the vedic calendar and gregorian calendar have different scalar coordinates.

All we have to do is prepare for war - in Barahoti, Chumur, Depsang Plains, Chaglagam and Tawang.

In Kashmir Only - Punch sector is where we dont command heights.

This will be Bloody-very-Bloody but we can hold them and defend very well.

We are very well placed for DEFENCE.
