Impressive Pilot nicely adjusts the angle of attack to control the aircraft's performance.
Definitely more agile than Mig-29 UPGs we have with us. Needed a pro for video though

These manoeuvres are more than sufficient to market the Fighter, no need to pull 9Gs to market the same.

Main points the thrust to weight ratio is definitely much above one, the agility of aircraft is impressive and control is obvious Solid 10/10 for the display.

I agree, but even if they are good maneuvers, u cant be repeating them everytime lol. Anyway thats just my personal take.

These manoeuvres are pretty much standard, you can check F-35 in same airshow its even more dull than Tejas MK1.
Aerobatics teams are completely different because of their full on purpose is same.
On other hand these jets are in actual service of forces.

In one of the pages here, there was a video of J10B performing falling-leaf manoeuvre and cobra using TVC. Can Tejas do similar moves? If not, will it be a disadvantage in a potential dog-fight with J10B?

1) if you are in a dogfight, at close ranges, in this time and era, you fucked up
2) cobra and falling leaf are useless in actual WVR(you have heat seeking missiles
3) this assumes a 1v1 scenario, IRL things are never that way
4) the ultimate paradigm: it depends™ on many many factors

TLDR: airshow maneuver, just something to admire which has no practical use.

The Cobra manoeuvre, where an aircraft rapidly pitches its nose up and then recovers, It can help a pilot quickly change direction only when your enemy is right behind your ass(like literally) and has only guns remaining.

Usually when the fighter gets into dogfight and some one is at your tail there is no way with today’s fragmented rounds you will be alive to do cobra.

In today’s training it’s advised to pilots never to engage enemy in dogfights. If someone is somehow gets into dogfight try to disengage and fire IR missiles from distance.
BVR has low probability to hit as radar lock can be tracked and decoys or afterburners can be engage
IR missiles give no fckin warning no matter how advanced your MWRs are. Thr is no lock which your fighter can warn you off unless you see it with ur eyes and deployed flares after flares.

That is what happened on 27th Feb, BVR locked onto Mig21 and WVR locked onto F-16, Indian pilot got ample warning and time to eject, paki pilot never knew when IR hit his ass.

I too agree totally. Next time they should try to fly in backwards.
That would be an unique maneuver.

Both PGM uses US GPS and IAF already brought JDAM ER and middle east having large amount of JDAM

If you believe in such sources then chance of exporting lca with US engine is zero and integrating AL TARIQ munitions with lca is waste of time and money
DRDO already developed standoff PGMs and LCA integrated with hammer, hsld bomb, griffin etc
