How many FOC? December there was FOC.
The December one was a "almost there" FOC with the FOC applicability drawings handed over to HAL.. there were still some things to do for proper FOC.. I am not sure what Vishal Thapar is referring to.

‘Aerodynamic changes’ will be the last thing that’ll happen in Mk1A!
That will be the most stupid things they will do. There was a study which show that Drag can be reduced by 6% and that will translate into increase in trans sonic acceleration by 20% and top speed by 2%. It will result in 60 kg additional fuel (Due to elevation of Canopy). One top DRDO scientist had said that they will focus on aerodynamic Improvement in 2017 but nothing seem to have done. Unless you push a big danda in back side of HAL, they won't do anything.

#VayuShakti2019 Target 7- LCA Tejas comes in for an attack on an enemy Command and Control node by Laser Guided Bombs.

#VayuShakti2019 Target 9- Indigenous LCA Tejas in a swing role, targets a Manoeuvrable Expendable Aerial Target)
with a R-73 Air To Air Missile and turn around to hit ground targets.

#Vayushakti2019 - LCA Tejas carries out Air to Ground attack with 1000lbs Bombs.

Good news. Quartz radome is now under development by DRDO for use in Tejas as replacement for imported Cobham radome

I believe it is a prolonged version which was planned for aerodynamic improvements. Probably we should be able to use it in Mk2 as well.

For the Brahmos NG to be fitted on the LCA, the weight of the missile should be kept under 1.2 tons, then technically Tejas should be able to carry 2-3.

Tejas with Brahmos NG!!!!!!

I LOVE IT!!!!!

This will make Tejas super powerful - both in precision land attacks from stand-off ranges AND in anti-ship roles!

Fantastic! 2x CCMs + 2x BVRAAM + 2x ASM + 1x Supersonic Drop Tank. That's true Swing Role weapon load configuration for a light fighter.

Also, with Brahmos NG weighing 1500 Kg, it is now confirmed that max. load per station has gone upwards of 1500 for inner board stations from an earlier rating of 1200 kgs. That's how you evolve a platform whose design is in your hand.

BTW where is @Sancho the resident Pappu of Tejas threads. Who used to say Tejas is not Swing Role and other gems of his utter ignorance.

It is easier to rate the inner board stations for plus 1500 kg combat loads. Apparently, which has already been done.
