Airforce version of Brahmos NG will be 1.2 tons. Land attack version eill be 1.5 tons. Both will have near hypersonic speed at Mach 4.5.

BrahMos-NG is a mini version based on the existing BrahMos, will have same range and mach 3.5 speed but it will weigh around 1.5 tons, 5 metres in length and 50 cm in diameter, making BrahMos-NG 50 percent lighter and three metres shorter than its predecessor.
Primary focus of BrahMos-NG is weight and size reduction. Speed increase is not the the focus.

Pretty sure that the Tejas Mk1 airframe will cross the 6000 hour total technical service life mark. And I wouldn't be surprised if we found out that it crossed the 8000 hour service life or even higher.

The higher than optimal degree of conservatism in the design, with higher than required Factors of Safety in primary structures will definitely mean that it's fatigue life will be damn good. The reasons being that this was the first time a full fledged fighter design was being done entirely in India, which led to the designers being very cautious since a structural failure was considered as something that could end the program.

With 5 HAMMER AASMs which can strike as far as 70kms with pinpoint accuracy and very low RCS LCA Tejas mk1 and mk1a will be one of the best ground attack fighter in IAF inventory and big headache for our enemies especially Porki Army...

Now we will be able to do surgical Strikes with our fighter planes remaining well within our borders.....

its and old article, i wouldn't have much expectations, given the fact that there is nothing 'solid' for now. And to be fair...they haven't sent a commission to fly tejas, the chief of the FAA just visited Bangalore.
All we know is that the choices rest on the JF-17 (the one with the most chances given by the current gov), The Kfir NG, Tejas....and..i guess nothing else (the mig-35 is already dead for us). ill be looking about what happens after 2023...

Despite who eventually wins the deal, HAL surely is doing some good work.

HAL SUCCESSFULLY INTEGRATES & TESTS AASM HAMMER FROM TEJAS JET
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has successfully integrated and tested the AASM Hammer air-to-surface munition from the TEJAS light combat aircraft. The AASM Hammer is a Precision-Guided Munition developed by French company Safran Electronics & Defence. The Indian Air Force (IAF) ordered the Hammer for HAL TEJAS in 2021. The test of Hammer will soon be followed by that of the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), around 250 of which were recently ordered by IAF, and the DRDO Smart Anti Airfield Weapon (SAAW).

HAL had stated to Overt Defence during DSA 2022 at Malaysia, on March 29, that the Hammer was to be tested within a few days. Sources at HAL have now confirmed that the ‘planned activity of AASM Hammer drop was successful’. AASM Hammer enables TEJAS to strike hardened targets at distances of over 70km. A single TEJAS will be capable of carrying up to five Hammers. IAF Rafales are already equipped with this weapon.

HAL has all but integrated the planned munitions for TEJAS. However, certification of each munition is expected to take more time. Both JDAM and SAAW are slated to be tested this year. Meanwhile the DRDO Astra air to air missile is planned to be tested in a few months. HAL officials expressed confidence of meeting all targets.

The AASM Hammer has three different guidance kits and is compatible with different standard bomb bodies (125, 250, 500 and 1000 kg). The 1000lb JDAM variant which can also hit targets at distances of over 70km as well as the 125kg SAAW, with a range over 90km, will make the TEJAS an extremely versatile platform for strike missions. IAF’s TEJAS fleet, which will eventually number 123 with an order for 83 Mk1A fighters having being placed in 2021, is also capable of using a variety of shorter range precision guided bombs.

Regarding export of TEJAS, HAL is currently in talks with Malaysia, while government-to-government talks are ongoing with Philippines and Argentina. Even while offering a vast suite of integrated munitions, HAL is open to integrating any weapon specified by clients. This includes the BrahMos NG, a smaller and lighter version of the BrahMos cruise missile, which is under development. Other components of the aircraft can also be changed depending on user requirements.

Hammer has a range of 50-60 kms when fired/dropped from a high altitude and it has a range of 15 kms When fired/dropped from a low height. So maximum range is only 60 kms, from where did you get this figure of "70" kms?

Anyways keeping that aside, Even though I am happy that we have been able to successfully Integrate Hammer onto our Tejas which will greatly enhance its Air-to-Ground Capabilities, I still wish that we use our own "Desi/Indigenous Weopons too for any Potential future surgical Strike". In example we can use a modified variant of current SAAW to bomb targets like Terrorist compounds like we did in 2019 Surgical strike.

Not saying that we should not use Hammer, Spice or whatever other AG munition we have in our inventory which is imported but we should also simultaneously use our own Weopons as well and make them combat proven.

Tejas will definitely be a very good option for Balakot type operations as compared to Mirage 2000. Mirage 2000 were chosen over SU-30 MKI because of low RCS and Tejas has low RCS AFAIK.

I thought Hammer was a range extension kit and guidance kit.
I couldn't come with any information it has a rocket motor.

As far as I know, Hammer ("Armament Air-Sol Modulaire") doesn't have any kind of rocket propulsion to it. Hammer is a bomb kit which turns an unguided munition into a guided one. Both SAAW and Hammer don't use any rocket propulsion, they only glide to their respective targets.
