Not that simple. It depends on

• if the wing is cranked or not,
• the airfoil shape,
• the L/D ratio (ie area-ruling,
• the leading-edge sweep angle....

Listen man, you sound like you are clueless noob, so take this advice. Never take seriously anyone who over simplifies something like aerodynamics.

Allow me to add some more:
> Sweep Angle (which result in the strength of primary leading-edge vortices)
> Position and steadiness of vortex breakdown (result in loss of vortex lift and upward pitching moment)
> Delta wing have inherently low L/D ratio hence require high angle of attack at low speed(See landing and take off)

Aerodynamics is far more complicated than it seems and I haven't even counted the airfoil thickness to chord ratio, the geometry of apex, and shocks-related stuff.

No it was 21 that became 17

done so that all the single seater SPs have continuous tail numbers, SP16 was the last IOC single seater, 21 was meant to be the first FOC single seater, then became 17.

IF this is extrapolated then SP26 should be 10th single seat FOC jet

That image is from video itself. I checked it again. Sp26 is written here and 22 near wheels. SP26 old can have 22 written there but new SP26 with 22 written dere doesn't make sense.

This makes some sense

the ‘old’ SP26 would be the the ‘new’ SP22

This would actually make it the 6th FOC jet

That’s right but after some input from the public/media(?) HAL/IAF decided SP21 would become SP17 so that all the single seaters follow sequentially
