In an holographic sight, the hologram of the reticle is built into the window and is illuminated by a laser diode. Keyword is laser diode. OLEDs are used to create digital displays in devices such as television screens, computer monitors, and portable systems such as smartphones and handheld game consoles.

OLEDs are not powerful enough to to output more light than lase device and will not be effective in sunlight. As an emissive display technology, OLEDs rely completely upon converting electricity to light and will have tough time superimposing a Reticle.

A MD is not atleast supposed to go to public platform and misconstrue facts regarding manufacturing timelines. Either HAL is grossly incompetent that they didn’t know/calculate about manufacturing delays or they blatantly lied. No client would accept such kind of behavior.

National Security is no game. They should have given actual timelines. They are not fooling anyone.

Why so?? because a few people are going impatient on DFI ?? Imagine what will happen if people start asking Armed forces to come clean on endless trials and delayed orders?

HAL is a public traded company hence its financial records are available publicly. Revealing accurate manufacturing timeline won’t affect national security. By the way Armed forces fall under RTI unless the information has been classified. One must not forget Armed forces are for the country and not the other way.
Armed forces are answerable to people of India by means of Parliamentary committees, RTI and government machinery.

A few only but most of project delayed/Died due to Armed forces .

If DRDO complained the same, people will accept but not HAL. HAL is mainly involved with manufacturing of aircraft and avionics. These manufacturing programs if delayed they should be held responsible and no one else.
HAL has delayed almost all projects.

Can someone inform me why bombs and LGBs are marked separately.
I thought their weights and physical dimension are more or less the same, give or take changes introduced by guidance kits.

Just to mention both dumb bombs nd LGBs can be fired. Not much to read there. LGBs need more work. If those can be fired then dumb bombs should not be an issue.

I had worked with a similar module a while back SparkFun Transparent Graphical OLED Breakout.
I can tell you their performance is not that good specifically in outdoor sunlight. They also have problem with low lighting area as the screen is not 100% transparent. They are ideal in partially lit environment like in evening around 5-6.
They suffer from ghosting (at-least our module did but I think that was problem in our software).
Finally they don't age well. We found out module had loss in contrast with couple of months of usage.

The reason the contrast is viewable in the module show in the video is because it is using pre-designed large segments with fixed characters; graphical displays cause problem as mentioned above.
Large Segment displays tend to have higher contrast than graphical displays but have limited type of information that can be displayed.
