I am sorry to have posted this but my intention was to highlight the a.. Hole, who has deliberately posted his info, my bad.@vayuu1
I have erased your tweet that you posted that showed one of the Rafale pilot's home. Please refrain from this as it is against security norms.
Thanks.
Well done brother@vayuu1

RAF Kyun likha hai is cartoon main. However this is such heart touching picture.
RAF + ALE = RAFALE, (ALE) CARTOON pic mein fit nahi hua.RAF Kyun likha hai is cartoon main. However this is such heart touching picture.
I meant descent at 40K feet. At 40K feet that half-cut loop, is suicidal. Could stall the jet.the air is too thin at 40k feets..... Not possible as that.
How so? Deal announced in April 2015,Negotiations in between ,deal signed in Sep 2016, delivered in Jul 2020.Raghunath Nambiar retired Western Air command Officer has mentioned, It has taken five years for us to negotiate an fast track contract which was done for emergency basis, This was unacceptable, I wonder how many years it would have taken for a formal contract to be signed without any delay.
The Delta wings gives excellent lift when there is enough energy/speed. Post the epogee high point of the loop, if the pilot decided to pull the stick early, very high chance of stall. If you guys haven't noticed yet, for tactical reasons, that half-loop cut is very lethal in WVR combat. Further in the video, when it lands, you can see the AoA in action with low speed descent. Rafael descents very gracefully, now imaging it doing at 40K feet's.
It can shift from high energy to low energy much like MKI, but without TVC.
Considering the altitude, yes only an airshow maneuver. Half-cut loops are tactical in nature and can only be done by very high turn rate fighter or super maneuverable fighters. At much better higher altitudes, you can only plan to perform this maneuver if you already have sufficient amount of energy built. The computational systems fortunately are programmed to avoid stall and would warn a piolet if they are pulling Higher Gs.The Delta wings gives excellent lift when there is enough energy/speed. Notice the pilot lets the aircraft drop with nose pointed straight down for an extra 2 to 3 seconds (at :20) before pulling on the stick in a gradient calibrated manner. To gain energy. Very careful move. A few seconds early = Stall.
We are too secular for that.
The MKI has a much more aggressive turn loop area than the rafale thanks to the TVC. At :20, the MKI can literally perform a full circle loop back to horizontal attitude at the same position. Rafale will not be able to do that and will stall. Neverthless, the Rafale was never meant to be super maneuverable. Its other capabilities will help IAF maintain air superiority tremendously. Like the IAF chief said, the combination of Rafale and MKI's will cement IAF's air superiority in the region. Something the M2000's could not fully do.The Delta wings gives excellent lift when there is enough energy/speed. Yes. Also the TVC's of the MKI is unmatched by the rafale.Considering the altitude, yes only an airshow maneuver. Performing that maneuver without building sufficient energy is suicidal.
Agreed to your point that pilot maneuvered by pointing nose down to gain energy while descent. He must've practiced that maneuver for his life. At that low altitude you don't wanna do that PAF fighter pilot mistake.
Deal was announced in 2015 April, We received the Jets in 2020. Note this an Emergency Purchase to stop our falling squadron, Even this deal took 5 years. Even negotiations for the deal took for 17 Months? How so? Deal announced in April 2015,Negotiations in between ,deal signed in Sep 2016, delivered in Jul 2020.
