Not TGO less TBC but bondcoatl ess TBC. TGO will always develop challenge is to supress it at operating temp.
February 2021.
The temp they have mentioned, it sounds like a potential Application for SCB.

Ya'll Nibbiars

Have the targeted Kaveri specs realised in dry variant with a new fan now being sent for high altitude testing?.

Kaveri met dry thrust specs many years ago, what they are doing is now improving it's reliability & testing new fan.
Ya'll Nibbiars

There were two columns against Kaveri in the data shared. Actual and forecasted.Have we realised forecasted parameters in dry and wet regimes on test bed after removing issues related to screeching ,creep and stability of combustion?.

An AL31 equivalent will not fit into AMCA. Else we could've just gone with AL31. We are already license producing it. AMCA needs a GE F414 sized engine that can produce AL31 level of thrust. So many stupid defence experts these days in tweetar posting bakwas. We should not entertain them here
Wrong analogy the engine would not force us to make any design changes of intakes of amca unlike al31
He means al31 equivalent in thrust not size

There is no space in AMCA for AL31 sized engine. So this 'AL31 equivalent engine' is wrong. AMCA Mk1 and MK2 wont have any intake design or size difference. Only a turbine inlet temp above 1700 degrees will give the required 75 kn of dry thrust in GEF414 size form. AL31 is vintage tech compared to this

IMO there is no prospect of anything other than a completely foreign engine (eg GE F414+) or an engine based on foreign knowhow (RR or SAFRAN) powering AMCA Mk2.

Choosing GE will not enable India to develop its own fast jet engines. Choosing SAFRAN might. Choosing RR might. IMO India should play those two off against each other and take the deal that gets India at least very close to designing and building a passably good indigenous engine.

"Sized"
How do you know that ganga is as big as al31?

I don't know about Ganga. But to assume that we have the turbine blade technology for 1700 degrees is little far fetched given that our humble 45kn dry thrust version of Kaveri will only be going for a flight test to Russia in next year. It's too steep a technology jump to GE414 sized 75kn dry thrust engine

Btw in development we have always set higher requirements than what is achievable
