Ever wondered Indian PM, HM, DefM, EAM, IA chief, even small lot netas have openly spoken abt taking PoK back. But Poaks have never given a reaction to it. Immy said abt nukes, war, HR, oppression etc etc, but never said that they wl protect PoK from India or something like that. As if they are pretending they dint hear it clearly.

I don't give a f*** about Pakistani Hindus or Sikhs or Ahmediya, Shia, Sufi Muslims. I say exactly what you said, except I don't want them burdening our country as refugees either... not anymore.
The ones that haven't tried & moved to India even after 70 years, they deserve everything they're getting!

But if we are going to take some land from Pakistan, then I'd rather it have some Hindus so that more Hindus can be inserted easily (like southeast Sindh) instead of 100% Muslims (like POK)... The 2nd option is far more riskier.
Go and visit a refugee camp of Pakistani Hindus some day. See what conditions they're living in, ask how their formal application processes for permanent residence/citizenship are moving along, and whether anyone has made any effort to help them or get them on their feet. Also, realize that these are often dirt poor, low caste Hindus with no real means to come across; and most past Gvts have not been so amenable to bringing them over and doing something for them. Hell, even this current Gvt, which I have the most expectations from, is still struggling to pass the CAB.

If you cannot; at least read about it. Then talk.

The best way for China to "contain" India is better access to India, not encirclement. India-China bilateral trade dwarfs China-Pakistan and the long-term economic impact of CPEC by an order of magnitude. This trade will only get better for China with projects such as SWSR.

The current status-quo is China's worst bet, as it is geared toward pushing India further away from China, into the western sphere of influence, and CPEC being a blackhole for Chinese money. They neither achieve containment of India, nor the kind of trade they want.

For India, SWSR is a ticket to easily taking back PoK, and building energy linkages with Central Asia. The cost of giving China land access through India is outweighed by the benefits of India's physical access to Central Asia (and Russia). It will give India its first real energy source other than the Middle East.

If China bites, this will be the first real opportunity for China to kick the west out of Asia.
Sir, you really think that they don’t have access to our market to the fullest extent?
I give my own experience of last week.
I bought three things last week
1. Electronic Weighing machine costing 4.5 k
2. Exercise cycle 19.5k
And shockingly paper clips packet worth 240 rupees
All the three Made in China
From paper clips to a stationary exercise cycle everything made in China
No wonder our manufacturing has been destroyed.
Can’t we make paper clips at home. I blame people who are importing them.
I feel the reported trade deficit with China of around 60 billion USD is understated. These importers are doing heavy under invoicing.
We should do any compromise. Enough is enough. No BRI access into India. It will be a final nail in the coffins of our Industry.

Today I was watching a TAG TV programme conducted by Tahir Gora on Utube who had his own spin on the subject.

He was suggesting that abrogation of article 370 was done with a consensus of all major world powers and government and there might be something more to it...

He also was suggesting that even Pakistan was preconsulted ..... Ha Ha Ha ...

Something more could be POK ...... unless he was trying to pacify the Pakistanis...

If this is the line of thinking then why not provide a direct and easy access through Siliguri corridor which can connect India. bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal. Kunming is still far off and old stillwell road is no good.

Any direct access to China would be historical blunder of gigantic proportion much greater than Nehru heaped on India in a Socialist Garb by supporting Chinese annexation of Tibet. China responded by breaking history of Chinese ever being a threat to India.

Is not the CPEC itself sufficient enough to pose a grave threat to India that you want another one ??
Completely agree. It’s history of this world. Behind every trade and trader the flag of the country goes. Flag goes to protect trade.

Lack of attention from parents. Superiority syndrome over the civilians and a rebellious upbringing for a large part.

I went to APS Dhaula Kuan in 9th grade. It was a total debauchery at the time. My Dad moved me to a DAV school for 11th grade after I got 55% in class 10th board exams. Oh and I used to get called "bloody civilian" by army brats who hadn't touched a fecking gun their entire life.

On the positive side, smoked my first joint there and got laid for the first time while there too.
Got laid with some classmate civilian girl or army girl ?
