too busy killing its large scale induction potential in IAf and siultaneously killing it's export market.

The leading test pilot of tejas mk-1 after IOC-2 has said that tejas mk-1 is atleast equal to the upgraded Mirage-2000 (upgrade of one mirage-2000 alone costs twice the tejas mk-1 brand new plane).

With a semi finished low grade plane china and pak are going after exports market. grippen in making a killing in exports market with its yet to be developed very expensive grippen NG.

but IAF and MOD are spending sleepless nights to curtail the number of tejas mk-1 in IAF , since there are no commissions involved.

Sad days for the indian mil-aviation sector.it is forever condemned to be a screw driver TOT receiver .

No one buys a half finished obsolete plane that is not going to be inducted in home country(china) in large numbers, when they have enough money in their hand!!!!!!

No scope for further intensive development in its r&D and no scope for any technical grievance redressal in case there

Saudi interest in JF-17 is a quid pro quo for something else.no prize for guessing!!!!!!

10 more ----ing years and then LCA will be 80% indigenous onlee and IAF will order 2 more squadrons off-course if the GSQR parameters are met (which were definitely not changed after the design was frozen :rolleyes:). :nod: :(

What a beauty indeed and she's being battle tested in Waziristan and hopefully we'll see her in action in Kunar as well in near future :)

hey neo just a cross check are those RD93 exhaust still smoking like the MIG 29 or are they smokeless

OMG !!!!! FC-1 can carry Chinese Dumb Bombs and Chinese SRAAM
It was inducted into PAF like 5 years ago right ? :rolleyes:

The JF 17 Block 2 is a BIG disappointment for the Pakis
Pakis are crying


Only some software upgrades to enable the integration of SD 10
and CM 802 Anti shipping missile ; No new radar

The IFR probe will be ready by 2016

Internal fuel capacity is less ; drop tanks will be absolutely necessary
No engine upgrade ; the fuel guzzler RD 93 has made life difficult for them
only 45 minutes sorties

Learned rishis of DFI, does any one have latest news regarding all those export customers of the JF-17 blunder that were eager to buy this 'aircraft'? I heard so many names. Has anything materialized? Or is this another case of too much pindi channa?

Isn't the capacity of a centerline pylon considered equal to that of wet pylon under the wings on a JF17. If so, then why is C802 not carried on the centerline pylon? Why disturb the symmetry?
