Yesterday, A.S. Kiran Kumar sir - former ISRO chairman, visited our college - in his new capacity as chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Jodhpur, and interacted with us.
I also asked him a question - whether we could have performed a TLI of CY-3 from LVM3, and what are the pros/cons of the two approaches to moon missions. Received a pretty detailed, but stock answer, thanks to prior knowledge from this forum

Oh the standard - that LVM3 isn't exactly powerful enuf to deliver a significant payload thru TLI. Rest of the answer were minor related points....

Its doesnt mean not in pipeline. Sommnath sir tells many times its in planning phase.

Not even payload are finalized so I don't know weather call it in pipeline or not payload are yet to be finalize

So this new launch pad will launch ISRO's SSLVs and Skyroot's Vikram and Agnikul's Agnibaan rockets as well?

This year is going good so far. Back to back pak defeat, Turdo smashed, G20 success, Chandrayan 3 landing except ~2 billion dollar Sikkim dam break.

Chandrayaan-10 would be a crewed lunar landing mission, whenever it happens in the future.

He went on to say that he envisions a day when an Indian, possibly a female astronaut, will land on the Moon as part of the Chandrayaan-10 mission
