Never read into details but I thought Israel was pretty indigenous in Ground based warfare, missile warfare including AD and Radars....aircrafts, subs and navy is more dependent on imports. America provide annual support in Israel defense in return Israel have to buy American equipments and many a times some of their indigenous projects had to be cancelled for e.g. IAI LAVI . Exactly, this arrangement is coming under threat with US moving to commie type left. They had a 10 yr agreement sometime back for the budget, it's not Biden but that agreement which is providing the money. I don't think they are going to do away with it for atleast this decade after that God knows can't predict future.

i think usa needs that larger budget for the wrong reasons.i suspect they have internalized their inefficiency and think that they will always waste some amount of money on useless stuff.this was fine against a rival such as ussr which has a dysfunctional economic system.

but china will use this to fill the gap in tech capability.they also dont need to control everything and spread any religion or system of government.they just have to spread influence.
