Intruder shot dead
BSF jawans shift the body of a Pakistani intruder whom they shot dead during a heavy exchange of fire near the Attari check-post in Amritsar on Tuesday night. BSF Inspector-General Himmat Singh said another intruder was nabbed near the check-post during a search operation on Wednesday.
Attari (Amritsar): A Pakistani intruder was shot dead during an encounter between the Border Security Force and smugglers on the border close to Attari, BSF sources said on Wednesday. Heroin worth Rs. 40 crore was seized. -- PTI
