Hey Kunal What do u mean by Ideology issues please explain
There are people belive that sights are completely useless as they are prone to get damage and broken, Some belive there is no need for scope to a rifle man as there are markman for such purpose, Some says scope is not needed as rifleman engagement zone is limited to 200ms at most, Most of these people with such ideas hold the higher brass and most of them had little combat experience or dont have proper idea of mordern battlefield from eyes of an infentry man, Such ideas are purely therory based on acadimical litrature which is again British ERA thinking ..

At least someone paying attention to details now ..

Has this sight been procured in large numbers with gradual deployment with deliveries or are they limited?

Anyways seems like a very good sight, nice little thing for the INSAS 1B, I wonder if its easy to acquire targets with both eyes open?

Among the projects cleared were the Rs 3,794 crore one to acquire "night sights for carbines" from Indian companies,
Antony defers decision on critical but controversial missile deals with Israel - The Times of India

A step in the right direction.
At least things are moving now.

I think these guys:

Are the Ghataks of the Sikh Li btn. As such it makes sense they will get the best kit first and then it will filter down to the regulars.
