Is this the one a variation of the above?Work in progress, by OFB
This video is 2 years old, which means final version should have been ready by now, yet no news on it yet.
That order seems to have been already placed, I remember seeing component tenders for MAG.Is this the one a variation of the above?

where did this new belt fed 5.56 LMG come from? wasn't it supposed to be 7.62?
===========================================================
So, they made a 5.56 version of MAG.where did this new belt fed 5.56 LMG come from? wasn't it supposed to be 7.62?
5.56 LMG belt fed INSAS was the logical way forward . This was on card for long bro but rejected few years ago and then 7.62 LMG RFI was issued by army.where did this new belt fed 5.56 LMG come from? wasn't it supposed to be 7.62?
I am talking of the exhibit picture, not the later one.Don't think so........................................
judging from shape of the cartridges and links (of belt) i think it's still 7.62 x 51mm not 5.56 x 45mm,seems (a) either they do have a 5.56mm version of this machine gun but they just mistakenly put 5.56mm in pic of 7.62mm one or (b) they don't have any such 5.56mm version they just mistakenly wrote it down there next to actual 7.62mm LMGwhere did this new belt fed 5.56 LMG come from? wasn't it supposed to be 7.62?
and there are enough OFB sponsored journos, who would have informed the public if there was a 5.56 belt fed LMG in the works. i also keep a track of tenders, only tenders available were for belt feed links was for 7.62 not 5.56.judging from shape of the cartridges and links (of belt) i think it's still 7.62 x 51mm not 5.56 x 45mm,seems (a) either they do have a 5.56mm version of this machine gun but they just mistakenly put 5.56mm in pic of 7.62mm one or (b) they don't have any such 5.56mm version they just mistakenly wrote it down there next to actual 7.62mm LMG
