Even UP is doing the same..Yogi Govt is now establishing another Greenfield City in the Bundelkhand Area as Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority on the basis of NOIDA, the trans Ganga City and Sarawati High-tech City in Kanpur and Bangalore. Andhra Pradesh had it Amravati City planned under Chandrababu Naidu. India needs such planned greenfield cities across the country to keep high growth, attract modern Industries as well as improve the living standards of its masses. Bangalore being such an important IT-Tech hub lacks a planned area. Everything is built on ad-hoc basis or by filling up its natural lakes.. This going to be a problem in future. Similar is the situation in Chennai area also.

When I went past this I was shocked at how huuuuugggeee this building was, and apparently this is only the phase-1, the entire project would be multiple times bigger than this. Unbelievable stuff.
