There is no way Russians can deliver on time with the war going on. They barely have labor to make war spare parts. But Russians have a lot of rupees to spend due to India’s oil buys in rupees. The whole thing is tricky. I hope the Russians can sort it out.
I thought Russians didn't want to trade in INR. Did they change their minds?

They did. But they have tons of INR from prior oil purchases. Looks like India is using UAE Dirhams and even Chinese Yuan to keep the oil trade going.
India isn't using the yuan. We've expressly rejected repeated Russian suggestions for it's usage in Indo Russia trade. It's the UAE dirham & Rupee mostly apart from the Rouble.

Kerala has very good quality rural roads. The only state in India I have seen where most of the roads, especially the new ones, have proper lane markings and decent signages.
But at the same time one of the worst Road and driving etiquette! Another issue is that outside rural and inner city also most roads are one lane each side only.
This cause lot of issues in Kerala and road accidents due to overtaking on single lane is quite common.

Kerela is unique in this regard .. very few states have such comically narrow roads . There was a "state highway" there that I could long jump across .. most other things are pretty good in kerela.

Perhaps after our independence the thought of city planning never came to the minds of Indian gov. Who was responsible for expansion of cities anyway? No one.
Muddy road existed around which people built their home and than sarkar came and laid picth on that road. The muddy roads had no symmetry and were not arranged in any pattern.

Hence we ended up with cities like these at the beginning of 1990s

This is becoming a bloody joke! NHAI should eat a humble pie and bring in foreign contractors and raw material suppliers in because these Indian contractors are making a big fool of public funds. Every layer of construction has massive corruption, from the road builders themselves to the bitumen/cement suppliers. Nothing will change unless these contractors start getting death sentences to prove a point

Notice that it is in Bihar, not run by BJP. So before you attack NHAI and GOI, why don't you ask the CM of Bihar?
