Ya'll Nibbiars The New Third International Airport is coming up in the Kelwa Mahim. And 3,000 acres of land has alreday been notifieds. And with Two parallel 4 km long Runways and capacity of potential 10 crores It's more than a Satellite Airport of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.


Ya'll Nibbiars To be operationalized by the end of this decade.

Question is not what is going to happen there.
I am asking is there need for 3rd International Airport with two big Airport already available.

Been to Varanasi over the weekend. First time in more than 2 decades.
Had lots of expectations since this is the PM's constituency.

Honestly, quite disappointed. The city needs lot of planning. Traffic and traffic sense are disastrous. Extreme levels of honking. Many places stinking very bad, one right in front of the station.
Kasi Vishwanath corridor is very good. Unfortunately, many paan/gutka stains already on the walls.

Was heart broken to see Nandi maharaj looking in a different direction.

Older cities can't be reformed easily given dense population and unplanned ad-hoc nature of their historical development.

The only feasible solution is to develop new areas and reduce population impact on older parts and then slowly improve quality over time.

New Delhi is like a big slum

What is the solution to redevelop this areas? Since we cannot regulate anything here with that density. Unfortunately we took moronic decision with High rise buildings and resulted in this Urban sprawl.
Even the so called redevelopment of Chandini Chowk is nothing but putting make up on Donkey and calling it as Arabian Horse.

Even Mumbai looks good if we redevelop the slums and implementing proper drainage.

DDA fukked Delhi royally, city planning being non-existent led to this, although I disagree that entire Delhi is a giant slum, most of the unplanned sprawls are in Old Delhi and surrounding areas, reast are pretty well maintained, a lot of congested areas get messy but overall I don’t think that Delhi is that bad as you’re trying to say.

There is None,
You redevelop a area that has most building in tattered state, these areas of Delhi are newly built. Now Wait for another 50 to 70 year before mowing down these buildings.
Delhi Is truly a overgrown slum in fact most cities in India are the same.
