Great test. Good work. Indian space program is going in the right direction.aporeciate hard work by indians and also feeling sad because Abdul Kalam is not with indian people now.he died too early but legacy continues.

We miss our Gurus by extending their legendary work.

TOI says this ASAT missile weighs 18 tons.


Even if we consider the second stage sustainer and the kill vehicle weighs 3 tons max then the solid booster weighs 14.5 to 15 tons considering that the interstage weighs 500 kgs at max.

Agni 4 weighs 17 tons. So we can safely assume that PDV Mk2 has a min of 2000-2500km range if not more.

China has about 250 operational satellites in orbit. We need about 150-200 of these ASATs to deter China to launch any attack on our satellites. Since these ASAT are duel use tech could help take out enemy BM. Wont be bad idea to invest in these in bulk.

Secondly such meetings do happen in parliamentary committee meetings.
