A very bad idea . All SF units are tailored for a special task for a specific terrain and their HQs are also based in their respective AoRs . It would be very stupid to base all of them at one place . It will stretch the lines of communication and reduce situational awareness

Organizational HQ is not the same thing as operational unit HQ, for example UKSF are commanded from a headshed in London but the units are in Poole, Hereford, St Athan etc.

LME = Lead Mechanic Engineer its a rank in Indian Navy

I found this post on quora of a 10 para officer, he said that sg does not have a standardized weapon, the scar is available but not a standardized gun, guns are provided according to requirement per op, you demand your desired guns during the planning and you get it before stagging starts or you improvise with whatever is available.

A more efficient method , but will future SOD possess such a capability . Who knows ? The whole thread sometimes become more hypothetical following the army's decision-making and ops

SCAR has been seen only once with SG ig. If claims are to be believed last year during an encounter SG was spotted with chinese (ig) AKs without any sights
