Is there any tactical advantage of wearing boonie hat over a helmet ??

It is generally used in low threat areas or during LRRP where weight of gear is an important factor or during stealthy ops. The advantage they have is that they are lighter and break the silhouette better than a helmet and are better in camouflaging .
Many a times people carry their helmets on their packs and wear bonnie hats , when need arises they done their helmets .

Woohoo multicam for Paras I know they had it in inventory and probably used it in some particular usecase but hell yes finally replacing is it all throughout para or only some Paras?
