If airborne has it, even SF will be using it.

DPV from RM's Stakna visit, not sure but probably a Suex model.
Basically on par with an average infantry soldier or Ghatak. Usually SOFs are using the gear regulars will only see 5-10 years down the line, today you could have a frontline infantry soldier, Ghatak and SF operator and not be able to distinguish them

Yeah, it’s definitely out of choice that indian SF are so poorly equipped, come on!We also need to see how will their western counterparts handle at these altitudes, our battlefields in this region only go up and up from where this picture was taken. and this is at 13500+ feet. how much of their standard equipment will they choose to discard to compensate for high altitude weight penalty.
last time specialist western forces were pushed into alien indian environment in WW2, they chose to go bare bottom due to diarrhoea walking thru burma & NE jungles. Chindits.
IDRW are a joke. Both have been known about for years. Nothing secret here, that they didn’t even mention DPVs shows they have missed the biggest SF story of the dayThis article is from idrw.
Is there any possibility that some of the gear is not made public for photo-ops like these?Basically on par with an average infantry soldier or Ghatak. This is about as good as an Indian Army SF unit has been equipped but they are still lacking the basics that regulars are being equipped with in many Western armies- battle belts, proper plate carriers with associated accessories (med packs, multi-tools etc) uniforms with integrated Elbow/knee pads, ear pro, 2+ tube NVGs etc etc etc
