PARA SF WILL GET NEW BIRDS!

Indian Army has launched an RFI to procure approx 150 Micro-Piloted Aircraft System Type B.

The system would be an aerial surveillance platform with day and night sensors to
enhance the situational awareness of squad and troop involved in various special
operations tasks.

he was trying to convince me that para sf have all the modern equipment available to them but they still chose to run with the 80s tac vests because they are "superior". He even went on to say there was no shortage of lmgs in the para sf the report about them stripping decommissioned tanks were fake. Apparently the NSG have already inducted 1000s of scars, which i am pretty sure they have bought a very small number of. When i asked for evidence surprise surprise he didnt have any. His only answer was he apparently knew better.

Are those PKs from decommissioned T-55s or from Bulgaria? Afaik the PKs jnside T-55s are PKTs and not the ones with stocks.Dont think obtaining guns from decommissioned tanks is true.

i dont know if true or not, but the guy who wrote the article is a very good defence journalist.

We have Bulgarian procured and Chinese captured ones. But this tank & stripping off it's LMG thing is new for me. Never heard of it.

They trained hard and very brave but lack in basic equipment like knee pad, hand free communication set, no side arm etc and only a handful of tavor, galatz and to some extent Carl Gustav won't do.
