You stretched it a bit too far. RAW is an external intelligence agency. Generally for scientific staff from defense or nuclear establishment, background checks & periodic surveillance are done by I.B. through vigilance dept. Indian defense estt is too diversified to let you keep whole lot of strategic information under your control. You won't be under constant surveillance of RAW or I.B unless you have secret nuclear codes of strategic assets!
Never said I was under constant RAW surveillance but my family (both close and extended) members and myself have been subject to background checks. Not sure of how often this periodic surveillance happens. I am sure the background checks have been by done my RAW since my job involves frequent travel outside India and dealing with foreign OEMs, often for new acquisitions. I have no clearances for anything related to the nuclear assets or programs.

I call them ugly, the quality is crap-bike vibrates like a fucking vibrator, power delivery is lulz.

Compared to KTM Dukes they are dead meat. They look great, fast and very agile.

Ps-i am a Duke 390 owner.

Doesn't take anything away from the fact that still RE is the company that enjoys 99% marketshare in the middleweight motorcycle segment despite all efforts by the competition. (Read Bajaj and KTM)

The fact is.. RE bikes are low tech.. and I'd still take them only over any other bike to Ladakh or Spiti. Built tough.. and low tech.. that's what'll work in India.

KTMs are great bikes no doubt.. but I guess that a street fighter cannot really be compared to a classic motorcycle. They are different motorcycles meant for different purposes.
Most KTM riders I've encountered are squids who don't know how to ride.. they've just bought a machine because they have the money.. but then ride it around without helmets and in flip flops.
These are the ones who find themselves running head on into a divider or a pole and getting killed later.
