I used to think like that then I read in the news last month that a J&K policeman influenced by the 'religion of peace', stole guns from the police armory and ran away.

"That's why we can't have nice things".
Having non-lethal crowd control weapons, improved anti-riot training and personal equipment (sheilds, helmets and body armour) wouldn't be vulnerable to anything of that kind would it?

If there are upgrades to be made to the riot control gear, priority should be given to mainland Indian regions, especially metro cities, instead of showering free stuff on ungrateful masses who parasite on the tax money that the former pays. As of now, it's just non-uniformed members of religion of peace throwing stones at uniformed members of religion of peace. Please excuse me if I don't feel the urgency to pay a premium out of my tax money to change the status quo.

It's not a matter of better gear, it's a matter of better civic values. Unless the savages come to the realization that they are beating their own people up, the core issue will not be resolved, gear notwithstanding. Give them the bare minimum and let them figure it out. If sanity prevails then fine, if not, then one must humbly accept that it's their default nature and look for out of the box ideas for a lasting solution. We can't keep pampering and spoon-feeding these brats with shiny stuff at a time when our farmers are committing suicide en masse in the mainland.

This is a classic case of : धर्मो रक्षति रक्षितः

Indian cops abuse the general public. They wet their pants if they see terrorists.
Usually i would refrain myself from giving reply to posts like this but this time i am going to make an exception!!Go and shove that tongue of yours at a place inside your body where the sun doesn't shine at all!!

This looks to be INSAS excalibur??
Yup thats an Excalibur for sure. Many specialised Police units are using Excaliburs nowadays it seems.Btw,if my source is to be believed then this A.R. is leaps and bounds better than it's predecessor both in accuracy and reliability!!
