Have seen Gurumurthy's discussions on this subject a few yrs ago which he shared with Govt and corporate sector both, while state has a limit on how many people it can employ this is true even of the corporate sector which still doesn't employ that many people in India for it to be a substantial share of our GDP. It's the MSME, cottage industries and Mom&Pop businesses which do the heavy lifting.
Ofc of the ones who are employed there is a trickle down effect from a consumption pov yet still.

Could someone break down what India's services exports are? It is estimated that India's services exports will hit 400 billion this fiscal. I used to think most of it is IT, but most figures say that our total IT industry, export + domestic, is only around 250 billion.
